So how is it that stores and supermarkets almost universally play the worst possible pop garbage as background (and not so background) music ?
Is there some secret committee that meets and hand selects imbecilic tunes designed to lower your IQ by 50 points merely by being within listening distance? And did I say LOUD? Yes, I believe I suggested that.
I speak from the New York City area, so I can't be sure this is a national disease. In any case , I suspect a conspiracy is afoot and I'd like to suggest an investigation.
